The incident happened at Railroad and Central Avenues sometime after 6 p.m. As of press time, service to the Pascack Valley Line had resumed.
A similar incident occurred near the Plauderville station Monday night. In that incident, a driver was charged with DUI after their car was struck by a train while on the tracks.
